Does Access Bars really work ?

Access bars is a scientifically proven therapy for reducing stress, depression, anxiety and many more emotional, mental and physical issues. As per the study conducted by Dr. Terri Hope, published in the Journal of Energy Psychology in 2017, a one-and-a-half-hour session of Access Bars indicated a substantial decrease in the severity of depression and anxiety in the studied clients. Further research suggests positive neurological effects on the clients similar to those of advanced meditators.

Dr. Jeffrey L. Fannin, Ph.D. in Psychology, conducted a study on Access Bars in 2015. In his research, Dr. Fannin utilized electroencephalogram (EEG) technology to measure brainwave activity before and after an Access Bars session. The study aimed to assess the impact of Access Bars on brain function and mental well-being. His findings suggested that Access Bars sessions led to significant changes in brainwave patterns, indicating increased relaxation, reduced stress, and improved cognitive function. Participants reported feeling more calm, focused, and emotionally balanced after receiving Access Bars sessions.

What happens in an Access Bars session?

In a typical bars session, a Bars facilitator works on 32 designated points on the head of the client which cater to different areas of life such as communication, sadness, joy, body, and so on. Through a feather light touch, these points are activated using a verbal process to stimulate the brain waves. The client can sit on a comfortable chair or lie down for better comfort and ease of receiving the session. After a 60-90 minute session, there is a significant relief from stress, tiredness, fatigue and an overall mood improvement. After a couple of bars sessions, people have reported improvement in their sleep, eating habits, energy levels, moods, finances, and relationships.

FAQs

The 32 points in Access Bars are the core focus of this therapy. They relate to different areas of life such as money, control, creativity, relationships, healing, awareness, joy, and more. Gently touching these points helps release blocked energy and limiting beliefs, allowing greater clarity and ease.

Reiki channels universal life force energy through the practitioner’s hands to the receiver, while Access Bars works by gently touching specific points on the head to release stored thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Both promote relaxation and healing, but Access Bars is especially focused on clearing mental clutter and subconscious blocks.

Access Bars is a safe, non-invasive process. The only "side effects" reported are positive ones such as better sleep, reduced anxiety, greater focus, and an overall sense of calm. Some people may feel lighter, while others may notice shifts in emotions or energy levels.

You can learn Access Bars by attending a certified Access Bars Practitioner Workshop. In just one day, you receive hands-on training, a manual, and practical experience that enables you to practice on yourself and others.

By completing the Practitioner Course, you can:

  • Offer Access Bars sessions professionally

Access Bars works by gently touching the 32 energy points on the head. This releases stored electromagnetic charge of thoughts, beliefs, and emotions, much like deleting unnecessary files from a computer. It helps bring mental clarity and emotional relief.

Access Bars is known to help with stress, anxiety, depression, sleep issues, emotional overwhelm, trauma, and even physical tension. It also supports better focus, creativity, and overall well-being.

A typical session lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. During this time, you simply relax on a therapy bed while the practitioner gently touches the points on your head.

Even one session can create noticeable shifts. However, for deeper changes and lasting results, multiple sessions are recommended—depending on your goals and emotional state.

Several studies suggest that Access Bars can reduce anxiety and depression, while improving brain coherence and relaxation response. While more research is ongoing, thousands of people worldwide have reported significant positive changes.

Most people feel deep relaxation, similar to meditation. Some may fall asleep, while others experience tingling, warmth, or a sense of lightness. Each session is unique to the individual.

Access Bars is a complementary therapy. It is not a replacement for medical treatment but can be used alongside medical or psychological care to support healing and reduce stress.

The cost may vary depending on the practitioner and location. On average, sessions range from ₹5,000 to ₹8,000. Workshops for becoming a practitioner have a different fee structure.

Yes, once you are trained, you can run your own Bars. However, most people find it more relaxing when another practitioner works on them.

Unlike talk therapies, Access Bars bypasses conscious analysis and works directly with subconscious energy blocks. It’s a hands-on, relaxing process that allows natural release without effort or struggle.

No special preparation is needed. Just wear comfortable clothing, drink water, and come with an open mind. The process itself is gentle and requires no effort from you.

Some people feel immediate relief after a single session, such as better sleep or reduced anxiety. For others, results may appear gradually as they notice changes in thought patterns, emotions, or life situations.
